My entire career has been spent in the construction trades. I apprenticed with my brother and his partner in their carpentry and masonry business during my summers as a high school student. After studying construction technology at Hudson Valley Community College, I worked for several re-modelers, house framers, and trim carpenters. I learned my trade on the job from master craftsman which was the best training program in the business. I established my company, Forster Construction, in 1988 and have earned a strong reputation over the years in the local construction community for quality craftsmanship and reliability. I have been providing complete remodeling services and residential home improvements to the greater Capital District for over 30 years. I often work with the next generation of Forster Construction with my son Joe. I love being a tradesman, and also enjoy my interactions and camaraderie with the clients that I do business with.
